Looking for a moderate yearly climate to reside.

I'm considering relocating. I am trying to find some place, preferably in the United States. Where can I find a list of places that meet my ideal living climate. Ideally, a place with no extreme weather conditions, moderate temps, more sunny days than cloudly, moderate rain fall, etc. Thank you for your time to respond to my question. My E-mail: jrstill@msn.com Thank you.

An easy solution would be to go ot the library or bookstore and look at USA Today's yearly weather almanac. I often refer to it, and it has easy to read information on many cities in the United States. It also ranks the cities in many categories. If you would like this, I will find the book and Email you the publisher and exact title.

If you want an online solution that requires some reseacrh, you might want to try our datasets in our website. Our NOAA dataset has the same (if not a lot more) raw data as any book, is free, and is easily available and easy to manipulate/use. Other datasets we have maintain information that you could never get in a book or almanac. For example, we have color coded maps of monthly information on high cloud cover %, low cloud cover %, medium cloud cover %, pollutants, and other types of information. Email the below address if you want me to post and explain any of this information also. (a list of our datasets)

Because I received some Email requests, Q&A: Looking for a moderate climate to reside (part II) demonstrates how to find climate data on locations in the US.

Every place has its ups and downs, perhaps if you would Email some possible locations, I can explore some of the positives and negatives.

If anybody is confused at to how to get the information, or if anybody has any locations that you wish to write about, please Email

and I will explain on this page exactly how to get the online data...and your ideal climate
