  An IP alias is an extra IP address which may be in a completely
  different subnet and domain than a host's primary IP address. This is
! often desired by WWW presence providers. The just-released patch 797
! should provide the best available support for IP aliasing.

! For historians or those who have problems with patch 797,

! solution. Be aware that many people have not been able to get this to
