Splitting the Time Grid

Syntax:

T 12 splitstreamgrid

Example:

  • Dec-Apr averages for every year

    • Troubleshooting:

    Use for averages of 5,7,8,9,10 or 11 months. Use to make anomalies/climatologies for time grids not called T (see Climatology and Anomalies pages for examples). Makes two time grids one with months called what-ever-the-time-grid-is and one with years called what-ever-the-time-grid-is2.

    Can undo splitstreamgrid with unsplitstreamgrid.

    T unsplitstreamgrid

    Example:

  • Select Dec-Apr months for every year, then put back together time grid

    • Troubleshooting:

    Use for selecting 5,7,8,9,10 or 11 months of the year.
