I work in the Climate Modeling Group which is a part of the Division of Ocean and Climate Physics of Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University. My research is on climate variability, predictability, and prediction, and on novel ways to study such things. This involves historical climate analyses, paleoclimatic reconstructions, data assimilation, and studies of error dynamics in the ocean and coupled climate models.
