This book contains tables of monthly and annual rainfall data from approximately 60 reporting station in Puerto Rico. Most of the stations report for the years 1899 to 1927 but there are numerous exceptions to the starting and ending dates. The records for San Juan go back to June of 1867. There is one table of other surface weather data from San Juan for 1927. Tables contain the following data: monthly total rainfall; annual total rainfall; long-term monthly mean rainfall; and long-term annual mean rainfall. The table for San Juan for 1927 contains the following monthly data: mean temperature, percent of sunshine, and surface winds; mean maximum and minimum temperature; mean (given hour) humidity; total rainfall; maximum wind speed; and number of days with rainfall over .01', clear sky, partly sky, and cloudy sky.

These books are part of the foreign meteorological data collection held by the NOAA Central Library in Washington, DC. Information in this collection dates back to the 18th century for daily, monthly, seasonal, and annual tabular summaries, and the 19th century for weather maps. These data are the result of foreign exchange agreements, but the collection has not been updated since 1983.
