Characters are: 1, crurotarsal ankle; 2, reduced and triangular lower temporal opening; 3, heavy coat of armor over back; 4, elongate radiale and ulnare (wrist bones); 5, slit between the maxilla and premaxilla; 6, large diastema between the premaxilla and the maxilla; 7, elongated snout with nostrils that have moved posteriorly.
